Symbols of abundance and generosity, they grace Provençal tables in homage to Christ and his 12 apostles: almonds, hazelnuts, raisins, dried figs, calissons d'Aix, white and black nougat, fruit jellies, dates, candied orange peel and gibassié, a crisp olive-oil biscuit.
