At 10 minutes from the centre of Aix-en-Provence, in the middle of young almond trees, stands the Fabrique du Roy René and the Musée du Calisson.
In this building, which has been awarded the "Bâtiment Durable Méditerranéen" (Mediterranean Sustainable Building) label, suspended between the past and the present, you will discover the history and know-how of the most famous confectionery in Aix-en-Provence, as well as that of the exceptional raw materials it uses in its traditional recipes, natural products from an exceptional region. A real invitation to travel to the place where delicacies take shape, between tradition and innovation.
Our production almond grove: 300 almond trees were planted in February 2016 on 1.2 hectares. 11 beehives were installed in the winter of 2017 to help with pollination. A meadow of melliferous flowers was planted in order to help our bees and support biodiversity.
