Caramels with calisson

Roy René caramels are a new twist on traditional confectionery, with an olive oil-based recipe for a Provençal touch. They are made from water, milk and sugar, and manufactured on machines dating from the 1950s, using traditional methods.

The calisson cream is blended with the caramel for a soft, melt-in-the-mouth treat. Other flavours are available: hazelnut, lemon, coffee and fleur de sel.

Ingredients: Sugar, glucose syrup, whole milk powder, extra virgin olive oil 4.9%, calisson 4% (almonds 30%, candied fruit 30% [fruit 54% (melon 94%, orange peel), glucose-fructose syrup, sugar], sugar, glucose syrup, egg white, wafer (potato starch, sunflower oil), cinchona extract (quinine), gentian extract, bitter almond extract), water, Camargue salt, dextrose, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, bitter almond extract, anti-caking agent: sodium bicarbonate.

May contain traces of nuts (almonds), sesame.
