Apple pie or king’s crown?
The culinary blogger “Flo en cuisine” has opted for both.
The king’s crown cake has become an apple pie. Discover this recipe in an original black nougat cream version.

Peel the apples and chop into large pieces.
Place the cubes in a saucepan with 100ml water.
Add two teaspoons of nougat cream and simmer for 20 minutes stirring all the time.
The apples must be soft.
Roll out the pastry and line a pie tin with it.
Place the apples all around the edge, 4 cm from the rim and from the centre.
Place the figurine.
Using a knife, cut the centre part of the pastry into 6 points and fold them back over the apples.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Leave the pie in a cold place while the oven heats.
Bake in oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
