Description

Toasted almond shortbread biscuits are delicate biscuits with a crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth texture. Made from flour, sugar, eggs, butter, almonds and a pinch of Camargue fleur de sel, they delight with their authentic flavour and indulgent quality, making them an essential part of the Provençal biscuit-making tradition. These small, light and airy meringues are made from egg whites and sugar. Shaped by hand and then baked slowly in our biscuit factory, they offer a crunchy yet melt-in-the-mouth texture. Orange blossom ‘navettes’ are traditional Provençal biscuits whose origins date back to the 18th century. Their distinctive shape evokes the boat said to have brought the Saintes-Maries to the coast of Provence. They are made using flour from wheat grown in the Alpes-de- Haute-Provence and the Hautes-Alpes, then delicately flavoured with orange blossom for a mild and refined flavour.
