Navettes de Provence by Pierre Hermé
Roy René's navettes de Provence are traditional biscuits, created in the 18th century. Their shape evokes the boat that is said to have brought the Saintes Maries to the Provencal coast.
The recipe, revisited by Pierre Hermé, uses flour from wheat grown in Alpes-de-Haute-Provence or Hautes-Alpes. The navettes are flavoured with natural orange blossom, for a sweet, light taste.
Made in the traditional Provençal way, these navettes are the perfect accompaniment to everyday gourmet moments.
