A Nice collector's box containing 180 grams of petits calissons, a Provencal speciality made by La Confiserie du Roy René. This box, decorated with the effigy of the city on the Côte d'Azur, contains the authentic recipe for which Aix-en-Provence is famous: a mixture of finely ground almonds, candied Cavaillon melon and candied orange peel, placed on a thin sheet of unleavened bread and covered with a royal glaze.

Perpetuating a tradition dating back to 1920, Le Roy René confectioners produce these delicate confections using ancestral know-how. The company has been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label, and is committed to preserving traditional methods and supporting local farming, notably through the plan to revive the almond tree in Provence.
