Calissons, a local speciality dating back to the XVth century, are made from a smooth paste of candied fruit and ground almonds, covered with royal icing.

Our Calissons follow an old recipe.Only natural products : almonds and candied fruit from Provence.In our original recipes all is genuine, with no preservatives or colouring.

A classic of Provencal candies, our nougat is famous thanks to a know-how acquired over centuries.Dried fruit, lavender honey from the hills of upper Provence, and candied fruit, are carefully selected before slowly cooking in a small copper cauldron.




Founded in 1920, the Confiserie du Roy René continues its famous classics, while creating new products faithful to its traditions of quality. Our 2003 product, the Crème de Calisson was declared “Product of the Year”.
